Alpine Sauna also specializes in Inhalation Rooms and Hammams.

An Inhalation room is a room in which steam is mixed with various fragrances such as eucalyptus or salt. Inhalation of the steam is meant to decongest the respiratory system.  Used frequently in homeopathic medicine they are now being adopted by hospitals and drug rehabilitation centers for treating individuals.

The Hammam, also known as a Turkish bath, can be categorized as a wet relative of the sauna.  Although the first Hammams originated in Arabia, and bath culture was a central part of Roman life, Turkey popularized the tradition. Treatments vary, but the general procedure at a Hammam is to first soak in a pool or sit in a steam room, then you’re rinsed, exfoliated, and massaged.
